We are looking for Project Manager – IT Infrastructure & Security – Freelance Contractor

STORAGE ONE is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for managing infrastructure and cybersecurity projects for our clients.

We are looking for someone who can combine technical understanding with a business perspective – someone able to manage projects end-to-end, communicate effectively with clients, and keep projects under control in terms of quality, deadlines, and budget.

This role is key to the successful delivery of our projects and to building long-term client relationships. You will work at the intersection of sales and delivery, coordinate teams, and actively contribute to ensuring that projects deliver real value.

Job Description

• Manage one or more IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity projects, depending on project scope
• Act as the key point of contact for clients and develop long-term relationships with them
• Coordinate project teams, reporting, and risk management across sales and delivery teams
• Create and continuously update project plans with a focus on milestones and priorities
• Ensure high-quality delivery, including timely execution, budget control, and achievement of project goals
• Work with leading experts in the field – experienced architects, IT technicians, and security specialists

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity
• Valid project management certification, such as IPMA-B, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or PMI PgMP
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMBOK Guide and PRINCE2, and the ability to apply them according to the specific situation
• Good understanding of information systems, software development, and clients’ business processes
• Strong communication and organizational skills, personal integrity, and a good sense of clients’ business objectives
• Experience using AI tools in program management

• Implementation and realization of projects in the field of backup, archiving, and data (disk) storage
• Service support for clients in the operation and development of these systems
• Consulting and training for users Consulting and training users
• Technical support for the sales team in designing optimal solutions and presenting technical options (presales)

How do we imagine you?

• You have a high school/university degree in IT
• You are familiar with backup and storage solutions (experience is an advantage)
• You are proficient in MS Windows administration; knowledge of Linux/Unix is a big plus
• Advanced knowledge of computer networks is welcome
• You are independent, flexible, and communicative
• You like to learn and move forward – with us, you will often encounter new technologies
• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Driver’s license, category B
